Kaizen: Our Work is Good, but Never Good Enough

 If we did not absolutely believe that we can do a better job next time, looking at our own work through the critical eyes of Lean thinkers would be discouraging. At Gemba, as much as we try to "walk the talk" we have a long way to go. Building standards, imagining an ideal condition and improving towards it is what drives us.

Respect for People: What it's All About

While kaizen focuses on taking waste, variability and overburden out of processes, it is people who make the changes and people who must change. Change can be hard for people.
